I’m Simrit.
I work with sound as a living force.
Not as background. Not as performance alone.
My path into this work has been shaped by years of learning with Professor Surinder Singh, Yogi of Sound, — whose depth and clarity continue to refine my practice and perception.
Through Vismaadh, I create spaces where sound is met inwardly.
Not passive.
But participatory.
A return to presence.
Alongside this, I build the structures that allow this work to move — into institutions, collaborations, and wider platforms.
Two worlds, held together:
one that creates the experience,
and one that allows it to travel.
At the center of both is a single, ongoing question:
what becomes possible when sound is not just heard, but truly received?
